The Code Stylist Master Project Folder

For each new project Code Stylist creates a blank Untitled folder on your desktop. This happens as soon as a connection to a database is verified. This folder contains the unique resources of your website project, and the contents are copied to the Code Stylist 'site' folder on your web server every time you click the Publish button.

When you save your Code Stylist project for the first time, the Untitled folder is renamed to match the name of your project. The contents of the Project Folder may be manually edited with a text editor. Keep in mind that any changes made will be mirrored in your web server's Code Stylist site folder each time you click Publish.

It is important to note that any changes made manually to the contents of the Code Stylist site folder (via FTP, for example) on your webserver will not be applied to the local Project Folder. Rather, those changes will be overwritten when you click Publish. Therefore, consider the Project Folder to be the Master Project Folder for your web application.
