download and install

Find the latest version for your operating system

1. To find the latest version of Code Stylist, visit codestylist.com and click on the "Downloads" link.
2. Choose from Windows, Mac or Linux versions of the program.

Mac installation

1. Click this link to Start Downloading:  <new download coming 3/25/2008 -- inquire info@codestylist.com>
2. After downloading, you should find a "package" in your web browser's default download folder named Code-Stylist-2.x.pkg.
3. Double-click the package to start the installation process.
4. After installing, look in your Applications folder for a new folder containing Code Stylist.

Windows installation

1. Click this link to Start Downloading: [Windows download temporarily unavailable]
2. On your desktop you will find a file named Code-Stylist-2.x.zip.
3. Right-click on the package and choose Unzip.
4. Now you will find a file called "setup.exe" which is the Code Stylist installer.
5. Double click setup.exe to install Code Stylist.
6.  In your Start Menu, look for Code Stylist.

Linux Installation

1. Click this link to Start Downloading: [Linux download temporarily unavailable]
2. On your desktop you will find a file named Code-Stylist-2.x.tar.gz. Right-click on the package and choose Unzip.  You may locate the folder anywhere on your hard drive.
3. To run Code Stylist, open the folder and double-click on "Code-Stylist-2.1".
